Meet The Inventor
Meet Cameron Jones, the Inventor of SnooZzoo!
SnooZzoo inventor Cameron Jones knows his animals! He grew up in Brisbane, Australia, near the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, founded by his grandfather as the first, and largest, koala sanctuary in the world. Lone Pine is home to more than 130 koalas, plus dingoes, kangaroos, Tasmanian devils and more of Australia’s iconic wild creatures. Cameron moved to the U.S. as a boy of 11, but the memories of animal friends Down Under left him with a lifelong passion for wildlife conservation and inspired his creation of SnooZzoo, a passion sure to grow in the dreams of every child with their own SnooZzoo friend.
After graduating from Duquesne University business school, Cameron Jones spent 27 years in the automotive industry, owning several prominent auto dealerships in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. Jones was a member of the Dealer Advertising Association and served as President of the Greater Pittsburgh Automobile Dealers Association. After selling his dealerships in 2012, the aspiring entrepreneur invented “SnooZzoo” sleeping bags based on an idea from his best friend’s daughter. Jones is currently touring the country launching the revolutionary sleeping bag line nationwide. In his spare time, Jones enjoys deep sea fishing, golf and spending time with his wife Marie, a leading Pittsburgh attorney.
